The adidas global and US teams looked to the NY newsroom to localize their brand-wide digital campaigns.
The goal centered on creating stories that inspired the city’s consumers online while energizing them to create in offline communities.
OBJECTIVES
Harnessing livestreams, on-the-ground content capture, and interactive event recaps, we pushed to elevate local brand conversation within specific timeframes and drive traffic to the various pop-up experiences.
DIRECTION
Creative concepts were formed through the lens of the city’s homegrown athletes and creators to showcase adidas’ impact within NYC and its various sport and art communities.

NEW YORK RUN BASE
Content created for @adidasrunning
A consumer pop-up space designed for the ultimate city runner. Each day included therapy workshops, interactive panels, mindfulness & nutrition sessions, and neighborhood runs.
PARLEY RUN FOR THE OCEANS
Content created for @adidasrunning
An annual event held in partnership with PARLEY aimed to eliminate marine plastic pollution. NYC runners were able to contribute to the cause by tracking their individual runs through adidas’ mobile app.
STATEMENT COLLECTION
Content created for @adidaswomen
A localized event launching an innovative product collection for the female athlete. Consumers participated in expert-guided fittings, fitness sessions, and talks led by industry leaders.
TANGO LEAGUE
Content created for @adidasfootball
A global football tournament focused on showcasing youth athletes. Winners of each local contest were given the opportunity to compete against their international counterparts on an elevated stage.
